Mobile Broadband 101: Get the Latest Here!

Mobile broadband is no doubt the most convenient way to connect to the internet these days. By  using a USB broadband dongle, you can now surf the internet without any wires or cables. Choosing a broadband provider is actually very easy, but its worth spending some time comparing which mobile broadband provider meets your internet needs.

The famous mobile broadband providers include 3, T-Mobile, Orange, and Vodafone. Each of these mobile broadband companies features different kinds of subscription plans, depending on the user’s needs and preferences. The options are almost similar from one company to another, only that some of them offer cheaper monthly rates than the rest.

For example, with “3” as the company offering the cheapest rate of £10, offers connection speed of up to 3 Mbps. The download limit is as much as 1GB, and they offer flexible subscription plans for all of their mobile broadband users.

Vodafone, on the other hand, is the only company that offers 30-day rolling option, which means that any mobile broadband user will pay whatever he has consumed for the whole period that he is using the internet using his Vodafone broadband connection. The regular rates start at £15, but this also includes download limits and additional charges for succeeding downloads.

T-Mobile, one of the most popular mobile broadband carriers in the US, is using connection speed of up to 3 Mbps, but has a higher download limit of 3 GB, with a monthly fee that starts at £20 for the 12-month subscription plan.

In the end, what really matters is that you should know what mobile broadband deal is the most convenient and affordable to you, and your choice will depend on how often you use the internet. Just make sure to avail of free trials as much as you can, so that you will at least have an idea of their connection speed and rate.
